This fisherman scene was shot on Lake Malawi as they returned to shore with their catch at dusk.
The remote island I had been staying on was Chizumulu in lake Malawi which lies just a few kilometres from Mozambique and although entirely surrounded by Mozambican territorial waters, is an exclave of Malawi. With limited electricity, no roads and only a weekly ferry service to the mainland, 'Chizi' as it's known, has a real sense of getting 'off the beaten track'.
